Someone said I should stop trusting internet strangers and go touch grass, so here I go…






The guy in that stone structure was smoking something, with my Xiaomi camera I could see what looked like a bong or something, but the smell wasn’t anything I was used to. By the time I got close enough, he was gone.


I saw a gazebo in the distance, so I decided to investigate:



On my way back, I heard a comforting sound; the Chinese language followed a few minutes later by what I recognized as a song from Douyin (抖音) which is NOT the same as TikTok.
Sure enough, there were people dressed up recording a vertical video:


One area had a display of fake dragonflies, easy to miss if you’re not really paying attention:

This place is beautiful, it’s worth coming back to. Lots of interesting things to see.
